`sin^2x + cos^2x = 1`
`y = frac (-b +- sqrt(b^2 - 4ac)) (2a)`
`(x + 2)^2 + (y - 3)^2 = 16`
`slope = m = frac (\text(change in y)) (\text(change in x)) = frac (Deltay) (Deltax)`

Equipment and Setup

Ideally you need a good internet connection, a tablet or laptop with a touch screen, and a stylus. You can make do with something lesser than this, but the teaching and learning experience won't be as good. You can use a smart phone screen, but obviously the screen size is more limited; if you have a stylus that works with the phone, then it would be better than your finger and might be acceptable in a pinch. You can use your mouse to write with on a PC or laptop without a touch screen, but it will definitely degrade the penmanship. If you have a good headset with a mic, you might want to use it during the session to eliminate background distractions. It's not necessary, just something nice to have.

We'll setup an audio connection to talk with each other via Skype, phones, or some other way. Whatever, makes the most sense for you.

I'll setup a collaborative whiteboard using Bitpaper, and prior to our session I'll send you a link to access it; nothing for you to download. You can go to www.bitpaper.io and play around with your own whiteboard to get used to it, if you wish.

We'll talk over our audio connection while we both can write on the whiteboard as we talk. What I see and write, you'll see at the same time; and what you see and write, I'll see.

The Process

Once we agree to work together online, I will setup a Google Classroom for us to use to keep all material that we use and generate in our sessions in one place. Then you can access the material whenever you want. We agree to a date and time for our session; this appointment will be entered into the calendar in Google Classroom, and you will receive an email invite to the join the Classroom.

Scan or take a picture of whatever material you have that I need to see, and upload it to the Classroom at least eight hours before our session starts (the earlier the better). If we will be working on homework, upload the homework problems. If you are preparing for a test or quiz, upload any practice test or prep material your teacher provided.

Prior to the start of the session, pay for the session via Venmo (@Lawrence-Wilson-20) or Paypal (lww@chrabbymike.net). After you have paid, I will email you a link to the whiteboard. Open the whiteboard a few minutes before we start so you're ready to go. I will call you via Skype or just using our phones, and we'll start our session. At the end of our session, I will save everything we have written on the whiteboard to a session PDF and email it to you for you to use as you wish. I will also upload it to the Classroom. Then you will be able to go over everything we worked on as many times as you want. If for some reason you lose that file, let me know, and I'll resend it or just go to the Google Classroom to download it.
Summary
Pretty easy. Nothing to download, unless you haven't used Skype before and need to download the Skype app. It's free to download and free to use for all Skype-to-Skype calls.
