Your goals will determine the score you need to achieve. The more specific you are, the more precise your plan to reach them will be.
Now that we know what you want, we need to determine where you are and thus how far away you are from your goal(s).
The last step is to build and implement a plan to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. Your plan will be a combination of test taking strategies, one-on-one sessions, and work on your own.
NOTE: When registering, check the box to add the Question-and-Answer Service. It's $18 extra, but what you get is well worth it to use for future test preparation.
You need to prepare for the most important math test you will take prior to college. I arm my students with an enhanced knowledgebase, a sharpened problem solving skillset, and a clearly defined test taking strategy specific to the test and each student's personal situation. My students benefit from my exceptional mathematical background and a relaxed, patient teaching style.
I have developed a process to determine the most productive areas to work on with each student so they will achieve the most score improvement possible the next time they take the SAT.
A lot of SAT prep courses will require the student to spend hours taking practice tests multiple times. I'm not sure how this does anything to improve a student's score. They'll say, "It's best to know what to expect on test day." If you've already taken the test once, you know what to expect. If you haven't, it's a long test that will consume your entire Saturday morning until around 12:30 PM. You'll be very ready to leave before it's over. During one of our sessions, I'll show you what the test booklet and answwer sheet look like and how to fill in your answers. Now you know what to expect.
I'll help you understand what will be the most prodcutive way to spend your test preparation time, and then we'll do just that and only that.
